WE MADE IT THROUGH ITBS TESTING!! Thank you to everyone who sent in the healthy snacks the students really appreciated them.
Please remember to turn in your child's permission slip for the Monterey Field trip. Also remind your child that it is a privilege to go on a field trip especially when it is 2 1/2 hours away. We will be representing OLM school and I expect only the best from our students.

September 7-11
Tomorrow our class will be helping with the All School Mass. This will be the Mass for Our Blessed Mother Mary's Birthday. Our class has been working on readings along with music for the mass. The students must wear appropriate clothing. NO SHORTS WILL BE ALLOWED. Girls must wear jumpers and boys must wear cordoury pants.
We are well on our way through the school year. It's hard to believe we are already through one month of school. Please remember to talk to your child about conduct in and out of class. Progress Reports will be going home on Friday. This is a reflection of your child's work up until this point. Please feel free to look at Option C to make sure their is no conflict with grades that are sent home on your child's papers. We are all human and believe it or not even the teacher can enter the grades incorrectly :)
Please be sure to check the BLOG and your child's planner regularly. Remind your child it is their responsibility to copy everything that is written on the board. This is the year it we want them to learn study skills that will help them in the future. I will always do my best in helping your child prepare for a test including reviewing in class and sending the study guide along with the text a few days ahead of time. If you notice a test will be coming up the following week feel free to ask your child for the class text book if you feel this will better prepare them for the test.

Social Studies - Natural Resources Chapter 2
Religion - Chapter 2 Sacraments
Phonics - Short and long vowels
Science Ch. 1 Plants ( we will be having a test next Tuesday, September 15th. Study questions will be written in your child's spiral notebook tomorrow.
