October 12-16

This week we will be going to Hampshire and Brookdale which are assisted living homes. We will be doing a prayer service for the people. Some parents have signed up to drive. We must leave school by 9:45. Some students will need to stay behind because we do not have enough drivers. To make it fair I will choose a few students which doesn't mean they are in trouble.

This week we will be focusing on writing for our scheduled reading time. I will be focusing on how to write a paragraph and how to stay on topic.

We will have spelling words and they will have to do with Halloween. They are

We will only have 15 words and no vocabulary this week. The spelling test will be on Friday

We will have a science test on Friday.
The test will be on chapter 2. We did a study guide today and will add to it tomorrow.

Social studies- chapter 3 American Indian tribes

Please look for a new permission slip to the Monterey Bay Aquarium. This will be sent home in the red folder. Please sign ASAP and return especially if you are intending on attending the field trip. I need to make sure appropriate papers and signed in with the office.
